Are you looking to import Korean brands into Singapore? Or thinking of expanding to Korea?

Korea’s restaurant sector commanded US$169 billion in 2015; 13% of the country’s GDP. There are 660,000 restaurants in Korea as of the end of 2015 (one for every 79 people), up 24% from 53,000 a decade ago. The restaurant sector has significant future opportunities.

Coupled with the tremendous popularity of K-culture in Singapore, participants on this trip can look forward to:

  • attending workshops on the business landscape & culture and how to start a business in Korea
  • meeting with and getting contacts of Korean F&B businesses through a 1 to 1 business matching session
  • exporting your brand(s) to Korea via franchise, joint venture or other modes of entry
  • meeting with Korean F&B brands owners who are keen to enter Singapore’s market
  • visiting International Food Service Industry Show
  • site visits to restaurants in Seoul
