The Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) is looking for an energetic and detail oriented Executive, Programme & Partnerships to join the secretariat. You will plan, coordinate and deliver events and programmes from first idea to final report, working with the team, our members, partners and speakers to make each one land.
It is a small team with a big remit, so you will see the whole picture rather than one corner of it.
What you will do
- Events. Plan and run physical, virtual and hybrid events, from seminars and workshops to networking sessions and large conferences.
- Programmes. Keep programme operations moving day to day: schedules, registrations, and liaison with speakers, trainers and attendees.
- Logistics. Source venues, coordinate AV, catering and procurement, then write the post event report and read the feedback so the next one is better.
- Stakeholders. Look after relationships with vendors, sponsors, partners and participants so everything runs smoothly on the day.
- Marketing. Work with the communications team on promotional materials and invitations, and drive turnout.
- Budgets. Help track project budgets, process invoices and keep expenditure records tidy.
What we are looking for
- A diploma or degree in communications, event management, marketing, business or a related field.
- One to three years in event management, programme administration or corporate communications. Suitable fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong project management, organisation and multitasking, with clear verbal and written communication.
- Comfortable with virtual event platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex, and event tools such as Eventbrite.
- Adaptable, proactive and calm under pressure in a fast paced environment.
This is a full time role based in Singapore.
The team you would join
RAS has been the collective voice of Singapore's food and beverage industry since 1980, representing more than 500 members, 800 brands and 5,000 outlets. The secretariat is the team that turns that voice into action: KopiTalks, learning trips, the Excellent Service Award, and the Epicurean Star Award and Gala Dinner, the industry's biggest night of the year. Here is who you would be working with.

Edwin leads the secretariat and posted this role. Jared runs the Excellent Service Award, membership matters and RAS Makan Buddies, and leads the programmes and partnerships work this role joins. Xianna looks after the F&B People Collective, Restaurant Asia and sponsorship. James runs communications, the website and social media, and the Epicurean Star Award and Gala Dinner. Alice and Vivian keep the association running behind the scenes, from HR to finance and billing. You would also share the office with Mabel Chew, our intern, and with a management committee of restaurant owners and operators who give their time to the industry.
