The Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) hosted Mr Hesham Kazim, Director, and Mr Saeed Almheiri, Senior Manager, from DP World Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) at the RAS office.

President Benjamin Boh and Vice President Andrew Chan personally led this insightful session, facilitated by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). The first meeting marked a significant step toward exploring potential synergies between Singapore and Dubai's vibrant F&B landscapes.

The discussion focused on high impact initiatives for our industry: study missions creating pathways for members to gain first hand insights in the Dubai market, business expansion unlocking growth opportunities for Singaporean F&B brands within the strategic Jafza ecosystem, and strategic collaboration to strengthen bilateral relations and help local brands scale internationally.

Dubai presents a dynamic gateway for the Middle East, and we are excited about the potential this partnership holds for our members.
